Everything you could want in a weekly shop all under one big roof. They are also open 24 hours a day which can come in handy.
Food and toiletries are on the ground floor, along with a pharmacists. I can particularly recommend Asda's ready made Indian takeaway that you just zap in the microwave its really good and a fraction of the cost from a curry house. I also think its great that they now stock Polish food and some Russian too. Their own brand products are brilliant value, and they have great ideas for kids lunch boxes.
Upstairs are clothes, toys and electrical with homewares too. You can get most things.
They only downside is that we shop here thinking we are going to save money on the weekly food shop - but end up with a higher total bill as we get sucked in to buying other stuff that we see upstairs!! The childrens uniforms and basics like t-shirts from here start at £1 and you can't get much better than that. -

well yep could go on and on, its big its busy its local but get so cross when all the items on the chilled aisles are within a day of use by date it makes it increasingly difficult to shop for these kind of things for a week. I dont frequent it to much as it brings my CFS on because sensory overload. I have written to Andy Clarke from Asda big boys lets see what he says eh!! oh and I refuse to use the self serve aisles they not any quicker and I'm Old School like personal touch oh and oeopke keeping there jobs.

you know what you are getting with asda. good quality, well priced goods.
in this extended, 2 storey store, they have a massive range of george clothing and household goods.
they have great offers on, and their own brand goods are just as good as the branded products -

Everybody knows what ASDA is like a good massive store with everything you could ever eat or read or even wear! Massive GEORGE department and electronics and staff are helpful. THIS PLACE IS TOO BUSY!
